CHP Telling Golden Gate Units to Switch to BLUE?

I didn't see any blue listed, they were tracking a high speed chase coming threw the coldecot tunnel on 24 headed to and then threw oakland. What "Blue" channel is this???

Blue is 42.340 (Base) and 42.180 (Mobile).

It's a statewide channel (tone varies) for pursuits and various other calls.

The CHP Blue is very good to listen to lately in the Bay Area.

1. All CHP Aircraft are now being dispatched on the blue.
2. Most dignitary escorts are being done on the blue car to car, and lately there seems to be one every ten minutes with the elections coming.
3. CHP ISU units are regularly conducting operations on the blue (car to car) they seem to be following a lot of people between OAK and San Pablo/Tara Hills. It all seems to be related to 10851s.
