New on this forum.....
A few weeks ago all law enforcement traffic in Claiborne County went silent. I asked around and was told "they went digital."
I can still here fire/ems on the conventional system. I have a Uniden SDS100 and have been searching but haven't been able to find law enforcement.
How can I find out what they are broadcasting on now?

It's possible they are following what Hawkins and Grainger counties are doing and switching to DMR, as their license also shows DMR emissions.

If this is the case, your SDS100 will need the DMR upgrade added to it to monitor them, as long as they are not encrypted.

Welcome to the RR forums. First thing I would do if I were you would be to remove the PL from the existing frequency and listen for digital emissions. If they migrated to DMR (& assuming your SDS100 doesn't have the DMR upgrade applied) you should hear raw emissions sounding like this (LOUD, turn volume down). Note, you'd hear that raw emission whether or not encryption is in play so personally I'd wait until we get confirmation from someone local whether or not they're encrypted before bothering with purchasing the DMR upgrade if you don't have it already

Is your SDS with DMR still receiving all Police transmissions on 460.150Mhz?

No. It's encrypted now.

Thanks! I have a BCD436HP. I installed the DMR upgrade and only received sporadic transmissions. I thought it must have been my radio, didn't make sense I could hear some radio traffic and not all of it. I was going to upgrade and purchase an SDS200. I just found out due to you and this forum that they totally encrypted as I was trying to understand the DMR upgrade process. You guys saved me a lot of money as well as a lot of headaches.
