Just a comment if it helps. I have 2 bcd436hp and 2 bcd536hp and testing extensively and nxdn 96 works perfectly if set to fm. Nxdn 48 is good with nfm. I suppose its due to the fact nxdn 48 is 6.25 and nxdn 96 is 12.5 wider bandwidth and modulation auto only sets what's in the band plan on the scanner which is mostly nfm.
