The important thing to know are if you can see on the display that the scanner actually stops on the frequency and then it takes a while until you hear the audio? Then it can be a setting, digital delay, priority or something like that, that interferes. Turn off all prio settings and closecall and see if that helps and set digital delay to 0.I have noticed that at the beginning of a broadcast the first few words are clipped out.Is this something I can correct ? What programming software are you using? If it is a digital talkgroup or conventional frequency, set the audio type to Digital instead of Any. The scanner will not need to waste time deciding what it is. Likewise, set the audio type to analog if that is what it is.I have noticed that at the beginning of a broadcast the first few words are clipped out.Is this something I can correct ? In that case, set the audio type to analog for analog frequencies or talkgroups.Using both digital and analog.Seems to happen on analog broardcast
