We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

While this isn't a huge deal, I figured I would mention it...

I set my WS-1095 and my TRX-2 so they display the clock when turned off. I have one set to local and the other to GMT. I set them both using WWV about 3 weeks ago and they were within a faction of a second of each other.

Over the last couple weeks I have noticed them getting further apart from each other. The 1095 is only a few seconds fast but the TRX-2 is now 14 seconds faster than the 1095 and 16 seconds ahead of WWV.

I just thought it was interesting that they would drift that far apart in a relatively short period of time.
