Cloning in Astro 25

I built a nice and maped in Excell, 280+ channel CP for my mobile. I spent a hr just moving everything to portable with drag and drop across programs to the HT. I discovered that It will not carry a conventional personality scan setting so I had to click each one and direct it one at a time. What a headache. Astro needs shortcut keys lol.

Can I clone a mobile "XTL5000 to the ht, " XTS5000? I'm learning the program and just unsure if cloning can cause a irreversible problem to the radios or will mess with the radio's settings beyond just that of the code plug? I'd rather not experiment with this setting till I can get some guidance on that function.

No clone, drag and drop only. You can only clone one radio to another if the type, model and flash code are identical (ie XTS5000 Model II to XTS5000 Model II).

and firmware may also be a factor. Too different firmwares, even with identical flashcodes, will sometimes create cloning failures. As mentioned, top level D&D is the way to fly.
