What Frequencies or Channels does CMC use for dispatch? There is one channel on viper, the vhf 155.325 and one on the old Charlotte analog system

Air dispatching is done on VIPER with the occasional multi-select on the VHF frequency. Inbound patient reports are done on VHF 99.9% of the time.

Ground units are also dispatched on VIPER but flight watch also multi-selects across the Charlotte system. The only time you'll hear a helicopter on the Charlotte system is on a CMC LZ TG, they no longer dispatch on Charlotte's 800 system.

MCA has a TG on Palmetto 800 as well but your profile says you live in Statesville so that's more than likely irrelevant to you.

Is that is on the talkgroup 51533?

CMC ON UASI

I want to reopen this thread. I saw CMC Helicopter Dispatch on the UASI Charlotte system on TG 273. Can anyone confirm that they are also dispatching on UASI also?

Flight Watch is multi-selecting. Dispatch audio goes across VIPER & UASI, field units reply on VIPER or occasionally the Palmetto system. Very rarely will you hear field units on the UASI system unless there are radio issues or the helo is on an LZ channel.

Ok thanks. Was just a little curious since I saw the new talkgroup pop up under the systemwide talkgroups
