• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

FRCC which stands for Front Range Communications Consortium is familiar however this is the first mention I have heard of a super dispatch center.

This document may outline what was referred to. This is Weld's new dispatch center scheduled to go live Feb. 11th-12th. The Weld County Regional Communications Center has been around for years however this is the new, revamped Weld County Regional Communications Center.

In this article it specifically states, "The 10,316-square-foot facility features state-of-the-art equipment and technology, including Next Generation 9-1-1 capability, WeatherTap HD future weather radar, and the Front Range Communications Consortium (FRCC) Radio System."
