I have inherited a Cobra 45 WXST
However I am not able to receive any signals other than the US weather. I have entered local railroad frequencies and local construction frequencies and local fire dept. frequencies. I am receiving no signals from these frequencies, and as I said before, I can only receive the weather.
Is my scanner too old to work any more?
have frequencies drastically changed recently for some reason?
or what could be happening?
I am in NC.

Do you have an owners manual? I looked up one, and it is a 40 channel HH CB that has 10 weather channels included with the radio. It is not a scanner. It will scan CB channels, or WX channels. I really don't believe it scans anything else. How are you programming in RR frequencies? Seeing that you are a new member, we'll wait patiently to see your next post.
HTH,
Larry
