We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. Firefighter have extinguished the two-alarm fire at a home at 351
Kenady Circle.

The Colorado Springs Fire Department was dispatched to the scene
around 11:50 a.m. Friday.

Fire officials say the fire started on the porch and and spread to
the attic. Officials say at the height of the blaze, the flames shot
as high as 20 feet above the ceiling.

Fire investigators have since ruled the fire accidental; starting
outside the structure from ashes disposed from a wood burning stove.

The residents of the home were in the house when the fire started but
were able to escape unharmed.

Two firefighters were treated and released on scene for minor injuries.

Fire officials say the residence is uninhabitable and the family will
be staying with family members.

Damage estimates are approximately $150,000.
