I'll try to keep everything related to this in one thread instead of multiple threads...

For listeners in Colorado Springs, CSPD Stetson Hills TG very active with this. Definitely NOT a parental custody issue.
Air 1 has been grounded due to fog, but the fog is lifting and they expect to be airborne by 10am.

COLORADO SPRINGS - An 8-month-old baby girl was found safe Sunday morning around two hours after police issued an Amber Alert.

Colorado Springs Police say Azeria Kabwasa was inside a minivan that was stolen from a Walgreens parking lot at 3480 N. Academy Blvd. by an unidentified Hispanic man around 6:55 a.m.

The van and Azeria were found in the town of Fountain around 10:30 a.m.

However, the suspect is still at large.

Both Azeria and a 3-year-old boy were in the van just before it was stolen, but police say the boy was recovered safely by police at the Walgreens parking lot.

Police say the mother went inside the Walgreens and left the keys and the children in the minivan. However, the van was not running.

Police believe the suspect saw the boy and then let him out of the minivan before stealing it.

The man has a goatee, is 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 pounds with black hair. He was wearing a black hat, black leather jacket, black jeans and white shoes.

If you have any information you are urged to contact your local law enforcement agency.

Kidnapping suspect in custody

COLORADO SPRINGS - Police say they arrested a suspect Thursday who kidnapped a 3-year-old boy and an 8-month-old girl earlier this month.

Colorado Springs Police say 20-year-old Cory Demers kidnapped the children from a Walgreen's at 3480 North Academy Boulevard on Sept. 3rd.

The children were left in a van that was stolen by the suspect, according to the police.

Both children were returned to their parents unharmed a short time later.

Demers was taken to the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center and charged with second-degree kidnapping.

A photo was not released.

Police are asking anyone with information relating to the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 719-634-STOP (7867).
