Colorado State Fair Frequencies.

I have been trying to find the Colorado State Fair radio frequencies. The CSF had abandoned their license a few years ago and I was searching the databases for State of Colorado for licensed frequencies in Pueblo, CO.So far there are no active licenses in the area on these channels. I even searched by frequency (active below) for common threads such as rental radio shops with no luck and even expanded my search statewide.

Frequencies in use for the 2009 fair that I found active off of those lists are:
451.900, 452.275, 452.825, 463.500. Others may be active, but I am using an antiquated scanner (BC80XLT)
If anyone has any other known frequencies or knows about any license information please share.

These are freqs I have programmed to monitor, or *verified in the past; channel numbers (F#) are my own arbitrary assignment. Freqs are simplex, except for one or two security/law channels.

Just because it's shown as expired doesn't mean they stopped using the freqs. It wouldn't be the first time some entity continued to use expired freqs, either unknowingly or because they weren't too concerned. As busy as the freqs have been in the past when I went to the fair, I doubt they gave up on using radios. Another possibility: with the switch to DTRS in the county, the city might have 'loaned' them their old VHF radios. The repeaters might even be still operational. Check for freqs in the RR database. CSF freqs.

I have not heard any activity on the 469.xxx channels for a couple of years. They are indeed simplex and were in use when I worked there. One of those channels was assigned to Production (concerts).
The 4 channels I mentioned (451.900, 452.275, 452.825, 463.500) are on repeaters and are active. I have not figured out where they are assigned yet. (I think admissions, security, maint., and admin or gates. I have not yet found the PD channel, but a couple of years ago it was someplace strange. It was also on a repeater, I think. I will check the SO channels and see if they may be on some state PD channel as well. I know the SO and Pueblo West Fire have migrated over to DTRS. The City FD has supposedly done the same, but can still be heard on the old analog freqs. City PD is still on VHF.

All of Pueblo County (fire, police, EMS, sheriff, etc) is on DTRS, so expect that DTRS TG's are being used.
I believe that the year round staff at the fair grounds use cell phones or GMRS to talk to each other, but that's a pretty small number of folks.

I went to the fair Thursday 9/3, and confirmed the following:

469.0375 Fair Maintenance
469.2125 Events
469.2625 Parking
463.5 rptr Fair Law
452.275 rptr Fair Security 1

I hope this is helpful to you; there are probably others, but these are the ones I was able to identify.
