Hi,

I have a question for anyone who is familiar with Columbus Fire Department. I have pasted some info about CFD station 1 & 9 below:

Station 1 & 9
Engine 1
Engine 9
Ladder 1
Medic 1
EMS 11
ES 2
SO 2
Prevention 18
Tow 1
Medical Trailer
Hi-Rise Trailer
Collapse Trailer
XBN 1
Box 15
Canteen 1
Station Car 1
Station Car 9
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am very curious to know what some of this equipment is. What is Canteen 1? What is Box 15? What are the purpose of the Medical, Hi-Rise, and collapse trailers? What does TOW 1 and ES 2 do? It would be good if someone could point me to a site that talks about CFD's equipment.

Thanks,
Colin

Collapse Trailers are basically = medical has lots of medical equipement in it for mass causulty incidents

Hi-rise is lots of hi-rise stuff for hi-rise fires

i've got another question. Say there is a large 3 alarm fire. Eventually the crews working there will get tired, so do they send them home them automatically dispatch the next closest piece of equipment there to relieve them?
