I think you better explain what you meant better before you start getting answers.

Just guessing at this point but TV Cable is 75 ohm and CB coax cable is 52 ohm as I recall.

What is a "cable TV antenna"? AFAIK, there's no antenna, that's why it's called "cable".

If you mean hooking up a CB to the cable antenna jack in your house, the answer to that is NO! Don't do it! It won't work!

The cable TV coax its self won't work as an antenna. It also won't work well for a feed line to a CB antenna as it is 75ohm cable and CB's are designed for 50ohm feed line and antenna. Of course you could connect it to the radio, you might hear something, probably not much. Just don't try to transmit.

While one kind of antenna may "work" ok for receiving; transmitting is an entirely different matter. The antenna needs to be "tuned" to the frequency you are transmitting on to reduce "standing waves". Excessive standing waves can blow the output device in your transmitter. Standing waves are minimized by matching the impedance of the transmitter to the transmission line (coax) and the load (antenna).

I think this falls into the category of "Please put as much thought into your question as you expect in the answer.

I THINK what he is trying to ask is if he can use CATV line (probably RG-59 or RG-6) for the line to connect his CB to his CB antenna.

Yes, it will work.
No, it won't work as well as proper line.
It might work well enough that your don't notice a problem, or it might not.

I thought he was asking if his CB would work if he hooked it into the cable TV system. If that's what he's asking, the answer, as I already said, is a resounding NO!

Well that is how it read, but I jumped to the conclusion that he did not word it well.
