It finally dawned on me today that the menu screen of a Connect Systems CS750 looks exactly the same as that on a Motorola XPR6550. In fact, there are even some similarities when it comes to operations of the two radios. Did, Covalue (the manufacturer of the CS750) basically knock-off the XPR6550? I have to admit for the price of a CS750, it's a great radio that performs well. It may not be a Motorola or the newest, fanciest DMR radio but it's been rock solid for me.

Just figuring that our now? The CS750 has its quirks as expected. The 6550 is superior when used in analog mode, the 750 has bad analog audio. Loud but way to tinty for me.
