Hi, this is my first post. So sorry if it’s in the wrong place.
What I want to know is. Can you stream live commentary from RadioReference straight to an internet radio?
and if so, how please.
Thank you.

Thank you for your reply OH1063.
What I am asking is, instead of listening via the computer, I want (if possible) to listen through my internet radio .

To answer the OP's question: Yes, you can listen to RR Feeds directly on your Internet radio.

There are multiple ways to do this. One is to use an application (like the one for the SqueezeBox... I don't recall its name) that makes this easy.

The OTHER way to do this is to directly access the URL associated with the RR feed from your Internet Radio. The problem with the direct access approach is (a) RR doesn't appreciate direct connections to URLs... I'm not sure if it's a Terms of Service violation or not, but I *do* know it's discouraged, (b) The URL isn't deliberately made public by RR so you have to find it yourself, (c) The URL can change over time.

Thank you scannerbox for your suggestion on this subject, but sadly the wifi radio that I have isn’t a squeezebox wifi. But I look into your ideas

No...

You have to have the Squeezebox server running on a computer, and the Squeezebox connected to your network. You could connect the computer and Squeezebox to an ethernet hub or switch to accomplish this but you still need internet to the Squeezebox at the same time. So what your asking, just connecting them together, not going to work.

If by wireless you mean you have Wifi then no problem, connect the Squeezebox to your wireless network, install the server application on your computer, and then follow the tutorial on the Scannerbox website to install.

Double check that the URL entered into the Squeeze Center server software is actually getting saved when you hit the Apply button. Also, make sure that computer can get on the internet.

Take a look at ScannerBox.us - Streaming live audio feeds to Logitech Squeezebox Radio and if you still can't get it to work send the support email on the page a message and I will take a look.
