Contra Costa EMS

Ran across a couple documents that may help fill in Contra Costa county EMS:

Contra Costa county prehospital care manual (updated as of this month):

Contra Costa Mass Casualty Incident Draft Plan:

Many of the listed frequencies are already found under various CoCoCo fire and police districts but AMR "Red" is the only EMS channel I currently see in the database. Other than that, these may be new:

488.4375/491.4375 (136.5): XCC EMS 1 Sheriff to ambulance
488.9125/491.9125 (136.5): XCC EMS 2 West county paramedic and helicopter
488.6125/491.6125 (136.5): XCC EMS 3 Highway 24 corridor
488.6625/491.6625 (136.5): XCC EMS 4 East/Central county paramedic

American Medical Response
935.6875/896.6875 (none): AMR ambulances "Red" East/Central county
936.7125/897.7125 (none): AMR ambulances "Green" West county

I have not yet verified all of these in my scanner (not in range of Central/East anyway) but I thought I'd post anyway as a starting point for others. One thing I have noticed is that I am hearing AMR dispatches for runs in what I consider West county (Richmond) on AMR "Red" which is listed as East/Central.

Interesting documents. Good read. All the EMS freqs you listed are confimed. I used to work Contra Costa dispatch and we used "EMS 1" and "EMS 2" a lot. Then, they were called "Control 9" and "L19."

AMR only uses the 935.6875 countywide. I've never heard anything on the 936.7125. I think there is a repeater somewhere on Mt. Tam. 936.7125 used to be "ORANGE" which was used in Alameda Co before AMR there went to the ALCO trunked system.
