Are there any conventional P25 frequencies in use in the Denver area. I don't recall seeing any in the database, but may not be looking in the right places.

Also, is there a way to be scanning PD/SO on the DTRS and only hear the high priority calls that get toned out and not the routine traffic? In other words are the high priority tones equivalent to CTCSS or PL tones on a conventional system (please bear in mind I've never programmed a tone code for any system, digital or analog so I may have the terminology wrong).

Thanks!

The Denver Mint uses P25. 166.275MHz
No way to filter out priority calls as you describe on the DTRS that I am aware of.

Lots of federal activity (FBI, etc.) on VHF using P25, but we don't have any in the database. Put your radio in search mode and let us know what you find!

These are all the Federal VHF Hi ranges.

138.0000 to 143.9875 in 12.5 KHz channel steps
148.0125 to 150.7625 in 12.5 KHz channel steps
162.0125 to 173.9875 in 12.5 KHz channel steps

Figure on hearing encryption for Super Secret Squirrel stuff.

Here are a few conventional P-25 stations I receive in Weld county (with just the antenna on the scanner). I have not identified them to date. Some of the stations are strong and some are rather weak in signal strength.

164.6125
166.275
167.925
170.75
172.9 (FAA at DIA?)
406.5 (control channel unidentified)
407.725
407.775
409.4
