Hi, I've tried to "input" my butel files into Freescan as the Freescan instructions say can be done. My Butel files are ".rsf " files, not "96" files, so Freescan says they're not recognized. Do I need to download out of a radio before they will import? Can / will someone explain how to do this, both individually, and bulk? Thank you very much. Jack

FreeSCAN will not directly import .rsf files.

Why not just upload from Butel to the scanner, then download it into FreeSCAN and save it? Accomplishes the same thing.

You're going to have problems if you're trying to import ARC96 files which it kinda sounds like you're trying to do. FreeScan can directly import files from the BuTel software that supports the DMA scanners, and ARC96 isn't one of them.

You would be much better off dumping your files to a .csv format, and use EZ Grab to import them. You will not need to reorganize the columns as you tell FS what column corresponds with what data to map. It's all defined in the FS user guide.
