Cook County Sheriff TRS

According to the database, the county sheriff police uses a Motorola system, but also has a P25 system that isn't used. I have programmed both in, and I receive the Motorola system, but the only talkgroups I've ever received is a Dept. of Corrections talkgroup and the ISPERN patch, no sheriff (not even an encrypted channel, as the sheriff groups are). I can't even get a control channel on the P25 system. Anyone know what the deal is with the system or am I just missing something? I'm getting the control channel from the North Simulcast system, the Schaumburg site, and I've tried plugging in the channels listed for the Schaumburg Intellirepeater and get a very weak but unreadable control channel. Any help would be appreciated!

they have recently re-banded so you mite want to see if its re-banded on you scanner, i used to get tons of encrypted traffic off of it probably 95-98% pure secure radio traffic before it re-banded i haven't listened to them since i just threw them in my radio ill let you know if I hear anything new. Just remember we will never ever hear the sheriffs dept. or any of there operations until they figure out encrypting everything isn't just wasting money but also horrible for inter op which there isn't much of unless the municipality is loaned a sheriffs radio for a certain operation. Long story short we are not going to hear CCSPD radio traffic for a long long time if ever again.

to i heard encrypted traffic from cook county sheriff there is very active radio traffic in chicago but it say s enc onece i heard them talk with out being encrypted
