Cornwall Transit is going MotoTRBO. See the request for bids at Cornwall. They are buying a MotoTRBO repeater, 29 mobiles, a base station, and 3 portables.
According to the TAFL they now have a second frequency, 164.220 MHz. in addition to 169.905 which they have occupied for decades, on simplex.
Not a hugh loss, but one more service we won't be able to monitor in the future.
