A good read. This article sheds some light on "suspicious" SAM flights, albeit just a handful, I have logged over the years. I was always somewhat confused when I logged a SAM flight and I was able to track the tail number to a civilian ownership group. Strangely (?) enough the ownership group always appeared to be located out of Danbury CT. Again, without going through my logs I have only captured 4 or 5 tops.
