Cumberland County Sheriff has been using 155.625 for 20+ years...freq has gone silent over the past couple months...local Radio Shack guys think they have gone to a trunked system.

Does any one out there have any intell?

Radio Shack?? Thinking? Ouch

Cumberland County Sheriff Department - Scan New England Wiki

They are still VHF, just migrating to Narrowband and adding Additional channels, due to the volume of traffic [being a Regional Dispatch Center]

Maybe the sites are linked back to Dispatch via Microwave vs LandLine, but there is now way in a "Climate Change" that they are carrying Microwave Radios in the Cruisers [ who is drinking, what ! ]

Try using 151.1075 for their dispatch freq. I have been hearing them there recently.

When they implemented their new simulcast repeater system they switched from landlines to a more reliable redundant microwave backbone. That's probably where the microwave confusion came from.
