Wow that one slipped by me somehow! If I would have seen that with all the bling n' bells n' whistles n' lights n' switches n' diddle-doos n' thingamabobs I surely would have snatched it up in a heartbeat! Cool looking scanner :) Thanks for sharing!

If I see one I'll be sure to post a pic after I pay for it! lol j/k

Seeing as it scans 75 and 88 MHz, it is probably European. Maybe Germany or some country that uses mid band for land mobile radio.

Ding ding ding! You win the prize!

The Robyn Model 4000 (a.k.a. Robyn 4 Bander) is the US version of the Cuna brand. All of the variations of this scanner were made in Japan for various companies that re-branded it as their own design. In this case, it was Robyn International, Rockford, Mich. 49341 USA.

The Robyn branded unit was FCC certified for use in the US on these 4 bands:

LF 25 - 55 MHz (+ 10.7 MHz)
HF 108 - 144 MHz (+ 10.7 MHz)
VHF 144 - 174 MHz ( - 10.7 MHz)
UHF 450 - 512 MHz ( - 10.7 MHz)

It uses the standard 10.7 MHz IF crystals that Regency and many other scanner manufactuers used back in the 70's (Elektra Bearcat scanners used 10.8 MHz IF crystals in their scanners).
