Figured I'd snap a few pictures to share while my desk was clean. They didn't come out as good as I would have liked but you get the idea.

From top left:
XPR4550 VHF: amateur radio
XPR4550 UHF: amateur radio
BCD996T: Sorrounding cities and towns public safety
MCS2000 900MHz: amateur radio
ASTRO Consolette UHF: my town's public safety and Interop. channels

Oh, then there's my closet

Good to see I'm not the only one that hangs on to the original boxes...hehe

That Motorola UHF console is interesting. I found this pic - is it really just a large housing around the radio + power supply?

It's close. It could be real. Looking at how it is seated and the radio next to it, it could be real. The radio side is simple, it is the body without the faceplate ie.. remotely mounted.

Wow that is very impressive! I like how the xpr4550's stack well even without the bracket. The consolette is also a nice touch. Now only if I had that many radio's LOL. It looks like you have every flavor of the XPR6550/6580. If I had that many portables I would sell some to get myself an APX8000. Would never be sorry :)

It's also an interface board for things like two-wire or V.24.

The primary use would be as the subscribers for a MCC5500 console (though they can also be adapted to a MCC7500). Also, without the faceplate, a SB9600 control head (looks like a tone remote but is strictly V.24 even though it plays as a W9) could be the primary as well for standalone (seen a lot of Astro Spectras in Federal service configured this way).

Anyway, my "desk" which is really more my work bench at home which I mess around with radios.

Aside from the two XTS2500's there is also an XTL5000 (recently upgraded from a W9 to W3 and getting some bugs worked out), a full box of other P25 subscribers, a box full of analog UHF radios, analog VHF radios, LTR subscribers and controllers, two service monitors, etc.
