In another thread, I think I mentioned that I picked up a new Tera TR-590 radio. So far I like the radio. I also picked up the case that Powerwerx offers for it:

The case is nice, but a bit overkill for what I want 90% of the time. Most of the time, a soft case like what Yaesu offers (fabric backed vinyl) with the ability to use the belt clip on the radio (rather than clip on the case shown above) would be perfect. The case above uses a nylon with a foam backing to it and the belt clip hardware is both non-removable. It seems bombproof, but it really makes the overall unit bulky when all I really want it a sleeve that provides a bit of protection from scuffs, dirt, etc.
Is there an outfit that makes custom cases? Otherwise, I may have to get some vinyl and try my hand at sewing.
