Having another fire incident in central Washington, growing to about 1000 acres and started looking into CWICC a little more (Central Washington Interagency Communications Center). I hear it on the scanner occasionally when a wild fire starts they contact CWICC (pronounced as "Swick") if they need help. I stumbled across this document which has quite a few frequencies in it so thought I'd pass it along.
A lot of the frequencies are known such as DNR, etc, and although its mainly for Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest (OWF) a lot of it is state-wide. One frequency stands out to me, seen in a few different sections of the document, Wenatchee Air 167.525. I haven't programmed it in yet, but was curious if anyone else has heard this freq before, or see any other frequencies in there not published?

Nice find! I would have one suggestion though. Download the document, then only post the freq pages, 3 pages in this case. RR has made posting pages/attachments very easy. The rest of the document has personal info such as cell phone numbers that shouldn't be made public. Would you want your cell phone number posted on the internet? I think this document was made available to everyone in error. I'm betting the link gets taken down in a few days.

A few dispatch centers are adding their own flight following freqs every year or two. The Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest is spread out, given the combination of the 2 forests and I know the Okanogan NF has some dramatic topography so it makes sense that they have more than one site for aircraft. A couple of dispatch centers in Nevada, 2 in Utah and a couple more in Montana and Idaho now have a local dispatch area flight following freq, mostly on 1 peak only, sometimes the same site that has National Flight Following. I think one of the dispatch centers in Montana has 3 remote bases for their local flight following. When a dispatch center has their own FF they reduce forest net traffic which might be pretty busy and they don't put a lot of unnecessary traffic on National, which was developed so that aircraft flying over many dispatch areas in one flight only had to keep 1 frequency in their radio. Keeping track of all the local systems and programming them into radios was the old method of voice flight following, which was time consuming. Auto FF has reduced that, but I still hear aircraft checking in on National from time to time. I think every center would like a local FF, but the money that installing a remote base, a UHF link and a dispatch base station is probably hard to come up with.

Now if someone can come up with the same document for NEWICC (Northeast Washington Interagency Communications Center) and the Colville Agency I will be extremely happy, up here in Okanogan County there are 3 Dispatch Centers.

WA-NEC-(NEWICC) Northeast Washington Interagency Communications Center
Okanogan National Forest-Tonasket Ranger District
Washington State DNR Highlands District

WA-CWC
-(CWICC) Central Washington Interagency Communications Center
Okanogan National Forest-Methow Valley Ranger District
Washington State DNR South Okanogan District

WA-CAC Colville Agency MT Tolman Dispatch Center
Colville Indian Reservation

Thanks Paysonscanner, good tip. Can't figure out how to edit a post... still fairly new. If the mods can remove the link or let me know how to I don't mind. I exported the 3 pages with frequencies here in the attached document.
