For some reason, the "station" TG (32021) on NTIRN only seems to have a portion of the calls. Does DFR not send every call over the automated dispatch or how does that process work for them?

They've always had issues with the automated voice system (Locution), if you listen to their regular dispatch talkgroups you'll often hear the dispatcher give the same call information the automated system gives.

Here is an article from the Dallas Morning News regarding the issue, this was back in 2021 but I don't think it ever got 100 percent resolved.

"An automated voice message system meant to alert Dallas fire stations of emergency calls is failing and delaying firefighters’ response times. Some teams have missed calls altogether." ... "A 911 dispatcher is now dedicated to calling fire stations around the city to make sure fire staff don’t miss emergency calls." ... "(Council Member) said other firefighters who responded to the burning building had to tell members of the closest station about it after noticing their fire truck was still in the garage when they drove by."

If you listen I recommend just parking your scanner on the regular fire dispatch talkgroup (32001) I haven't listened in a while but I know they will at least broadcast the bigger calls like structure fires, if not everything.

That would certainly explain some of the issues. I have everything in the radio, but I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the help!

Could be wrong, but I believe that the UHF channel is still dispatching all the calls, so they may be just patching and unpatching a lot.
