It actually sounds kind of horrible, the typical analog over digital, but I guess it's better then nothing. Strange it's not coming over the A system, maybe someone happens to be affiliated outside of the city. I discovered it while sitting in my car having lunch at work in Bloomfield. During search I heard EMS going to the FCI on Pembroke and that clued me in right away.

I'm also hearing them on the Troop L site. The only radio ID I've seen is 2104101. It doesn't seem to match the rest of the state in regard to using the town tax code for the TGID. Danbury is 034.

The ID I saw was 341001 and 344002.

Rumor has it Fire & EMS are using Marcus Communications now and booted NorCommCT
I did see new Kenwood radios in one of the Danbury EMS fly cars but no 700/800 antenna so it might just be a patch they can activate on the console??

a couple Danbury RIDs appeared at the latest Candlewood incident on one or more of the groups in use there.

Good to know. I was actually in New Milford at the time of the incident monitoring all the towns involved, but I didn't think to do an ID search at the time and was monitoring Danbury on the usual 453.7375.

Just to clarify a few things here; There are no Marcus Comms at Danbury Dispatch. We have a couple of TGs on CLMRN, but our dispatch console is too outdated to have CLMRN in it. If you hear any of the TGs, it's unit to unit (we have only a few radios). The boat (34-Marine-1) at times communicates on the Lake with Candlewood Lake Authority or DEEP on the Lakes TG. That's really about it.
