Dane County Sheriff, Sun Prairie FD, EMS, and FD on scene of a serious incident on Hwy 151 north of Byrd St. Appears it was a law enforcement officer struck by a stolen vehicle while trying to deploy spikes. Striking vehicle continued northbound on 151 from the incident. Med-Flight enroute. 154.845=Law Enforcement, 154.680=State Patrol, 156.225=SPFD/EMS, 151.280/463.950=MedFlight

Dane County Sheriff squad in pursuit of the vehicle that struck the officer on Hwy 151. Pursuit eastbound on I-94 aproaching Hwy 73. Speeds started in excess of 95 MPH, now down to 60 MPH, back up to 110 MPH. Jefferson Sheriff setting up for spikes.
Driver missed them. WSP setting up spikes further east. 154.845=Dane Sheriff / 154.860=Jefferson Sheriff / 154.680=State Patrol

It doesn't sound too good...

From what I was copying, it started off as a reckless driver that
began a chase in the Sun Prairie area. A Dane CO deputy went to spike
the vehicle on 151 and the driver intentionally hit the deputy with
the car. Medflight was called and the deputy was transported to the
ER. I don't know the status of the deputy at this time.

Then the car got on e/b I94 and led another deputy to the Jefferson CO
line where WSP took the chase over. It sounded like the guy was
driving 100 plus though heavy traffic conditions. WSP tried spiking
the car a few times and eventually got him stopped on I94 just east of
26.

Supposedly the deputy is doing pretty well and actually wasn't hurt that bad.

Sounds like it could of been a lot worse than it was.
