Hi, I now have an SDS100. I have not had a chance to play with it on Danecom yet. Is there anyone that uses one for Dane County's danecom system, was wondering how they work with the rubber duck

No personal experience, but it appears to work great!
I live just outside of Sun Prairie. I have the SDS100 and use it with the rubber duck antenna and it works great on DaneCom. It also works great with Madison's radio system.
Good to here, was wanting at some feed back i've been looking at a few places to live in dane county so its nice to get some feed back, I just got mine not that long ago and like it so far Think i need to get a mobile antenna and a preamp for my sds in the northern half of grant county, didnt seem to work the best up there with some of the stuff down here.
Update, I was up in Dane County last weekend and my sds performed very well. I also had it up in Oshkosh on there public safety system. I was not only pulling in Ottamamie county and Winnebago county but I was also pulling in quite a bit on both Wiscom and even Brown County's Siren system.
