Data on 161.565 in Alabama

Trying to figure what Im hearing. On 161.565, in the Birmingham area and Huntsville (could be originating one spot not sure) hearing some sort data on 161.565. Mostly curious what it is, havent tried NXDN to rule that out but doesnt sound like that. Guessing an NS frequency based on database.

Any thoughts?

That is crossing data on NS. I pick it up also around the NS.

Road crossings. From what I’ve been told, it’s trouble reporting and diagnostic data when a crossing has a malfunction. Supposedly it’s using NXDN.

Pretty much the same frequency system-wide except in areas where that frequency is already in use by something else.
