I was in Davenport today.

My UHF radio (with DPD & DFD frequencies) was dead. YES I could hear other stations on my ham radio


Did DPD/DFD migrate to another band?


I have an email out to my buddy (retired DPD--current DPD civilain IT person)

DFD and DPD are now on the RACOM system. I am not sure how to link it to a post but if you go to the Scott database and then to the RACOM system under trunk systems scroll down to Scott County and they are listed there.

I believe they went to RACOM. TGs are in the database anyways. I haven't personally verified it myself.

This shows they are simulcast of UHF channels...............But I verified today that the UHF channels are not in use.....

I do however know for a fact that the UHF channels were dead this afternoon when I was in town.

And yes-----after digging I found the talkgroups on my PSR 800 database.........

I got rid of all my notes from when i was in clinton for a few months...


But I believe the DB is accurate, however the simulcast radios could have been turned off.

There is no doubt the UHF frequencies are dead. I monitored them for about six hours Saturday afternoon

No way in Hades that DPD or DFD would have absolutely no traffic on a Saturday afternoon/evening

I have sent Burner and Tim a PM with more info

Could you explain this information or tell me how to program Davenport into my Trunktracker Scanner? I am trying to program my scanner so I can listen to Davenport PD but I don't understand "DEC AFS Mode, Alpha Tag Description, Tag" and what all this information is and when I put in the frequencies that I have found it doesn't work.
