Davie County Questions

Good afternoon,

I have a friend of mine who is moving to Davie County in a few weeks. He's not really a radio guy so he's been asking me questions about scanners.

I see from looking at the DB and I see Davie County has some conventional VHF stuff and also uses the VIPER system.

Where do the fire communications mainly take place? On conventional or VIPER.

As Chris said, Davie County has moved fully to VIPER at this point. Last time I was up that way (it has been about a year), I believe fire and EMS were still simulcasting on their VHF frequencies, but Law Enforcement stopped using their UHF repeater years back.
