Decent lowband DX departments?

Looking to play with some antenna's/DX, aside from the CHP, MO highway patrol and some Oklahoma HP, any good lowband stations still out there to put in the radio? Not sure whats left/where that might have some good ducting potentional.

46.42MHz fire department dispatch channel Southwest of Portland Oregon.

This dispatch/alert channel is very high power on a good high piece of ground and best of all it's very busy

45.08 - Jefferson County CO. lowband dispatch
"JeffCo" still dispatches multiple fire agencies on this frequency, which I believe are simulcast on the CO DTRS system as well.

Additionally, I believe NE State Patrol still uses LB in various locations throughout their State.

In years past when propagation is good it was not unusual for folks in CA to hear NCSHP and vice versa.

I don't know how much this will interest you, but many oil companies are still licensed at 49.22 including Countrymark out of Indiana. I heard them this morning. Acording to the fcc's database, that's a fixed relay frequency, and the license's expiring next year, but there's another license, callsign ksc340, that is active until 2021 that uses 30.7. It has 1 fixed station putting out 300 watts like the 49.22 station, but it also has a number of mobile units that put out 110 watts.

You might try scanning the 44 MHz area. In 1965 I had the popular Lafayette Radio dual-band rx. I still remember listening to IA SP chasing a bank robber into IL, coordinating with IL SP. What a hoot! Scanning the low band when Sporadic E was active, interesting indeed.
