On vacation in Cape May I wanted to monitor the Delaware River and Bay Authority Ferries between Cape May and Lewes, Delaware. On this website under the Delaware listings I found the DBTA uses the Delaware Digital system for all operations on both the NJ and Delaware sides. For example, not only the boats, but the loaders, ticket agents, as well as PD are on the system. The system actually comes in much better in Cape May than the New Jersey state system. The system is not without problems, however. During a morning of excellent long range propogation, transmissions from Delaware state vehicles far away on I-95 interfered with the ticket agents portables in Cape May forcing them to switch to another talk group.
I entered the frequencies for the Sussex site of the Delaware system and used the DRBA talkgroups from this website.
