Delete my post

I would like to delete my post on a forum. I posted. Questions were asked. Some answers were given. I figured it out on my own . Now you might ask why do I care to remove it ? Well I might ask why does it matter ? Had I known any content I created on this site would be absolutely permanent and undeletable , I'd never have joined or posted. This is way too much control for a site to have without making it super clear up front.

Yeah , I get it. See rule number three. My point is that I'm shocked it isn't more obvious , like " are you sure " or " this post cannot be deleted past 30 minutes , are you sure" " because this is forever".
I have been duped into some kind of cult where I can leave , but not delete my account and everything associated with it , if I've posted. My account will be , how did they put it ? "Inactive" ?
but will remain so that my post that I wish to remove will remain. It's like a sick joke.
If I make too much trouble , I'll be blocked but my content will remain.

I do recognize that. However it should be recognized that I posted the original question and should ultimately be allowed to remove it. But it's no longer mine to remove.

Sorry you feel this way I do not see the big deal. Say something on National TV and the have the video for life also so it is no big deal.
Your attitude in this thread will make you no friends here and make it harder for you to get help. Also you are not making friends with the people incharge here and your time will be short. Fine, I'll delete your thread.. Hopefully you can find another site that is more intune with your wishes.
