At 12:06pm today, all units were instructed to move over to the digital OSRP system.

All agencies will be dispatched on 9351 FIRE DISPATCH.

Units will then be assigned to one of the below Ops channels:
9152 Fire Ops 2
9153 Fire Ops 3
9154 Fire Ops 4
9155 Fire Ops 5
9156 Fire Ops 6

Simulcast on VHF for the moment. But... None of the VHF freqs are what they used to be used for.

All Deschutes County agencies (except La Pine) are being dispatched on 9151 which is linked to Bend Fire dispatch of 154.1450.
OPS 2 is linked to Redmond's old VHF of 154.0700.
OPS 3 is linked to NW Fire (Black Butte Ranch, Sisters, Camp Sherman) old VHF of 154.4150.
OPS 4 is linked to Crooked River Ranch's old VHF of 154.3925.

The old VHF tac channels may or may not be in use, but should be phased out over time. Note that Jefferson and Crook county agencies are still on VHF.

Thank you for posting these. What do you mean by 5PC for Crooked River Ranch and 7PC for Sisters Fire?

I'm over in Salem for the weekend, been monitoring the Salem site with unitrunker. Evertime there is a tone-out from Deschutes County, the 65xxx supergroup patch shows up on Unitrunker on the Salem Site. There is no transmission, it just registers the talkgroup.

Last time I was over the hill I was hearing Fire Dispatch 1. Odd how they get patched over from time to time.

Any radio that is affiliated with the OSRP will roam to any closest site. So when someone is over in the valley for what ever reason, driving a department rig or has a portable radio that is turned on, will cause the radio to affiliate the nearest tower. Hence someone from central Oregon was in Portland, probably for TVFR Chief retirement and hence you were hearing central Oregon. End Users have no idea what tower they’re affiliated to, it happens behind the scenes just like with your cell phone. That’s why...
