Detroit Frequencies

Hello,

Scanning with a Uniden Bearcat BC350A

Was curious if anyone knew any frequencies for Highland Park PD & FD
as well as Detroit Public Schools Police

I think your scanner is too old to monitor them though.

Indeed. Thanks! I can basically get Wayne State PD and stuff since they patched their MPSCS into their old radios. That and and Henry Ford Hosp Police.

Like Flintstone said its a little out dated for the metro area .I still use a BC350A everyday for Oakland Co .Oakland Co still has alot that you can pick up with the BC350a for police most of Oakland Co has gone to Open-Sky .Macomb only has a few FD and DPW'S still on UHF and VHF all PD in Macomb is on MPSCS .so if you want to monitor Police and Fire around the Detroit area you will want to invest in a scanner that can receive Digital mode .Check the database for Wayne Oakland and Macomb Co's its the most up to date list's of freqs still in use .Highland Pk is on MPSCS and that scanner will not pick up that range of freqs or Digital .
