I stream it on my right channel along with Evergreen and West Metro Fire.

Very quiet, because they mainly report directly to the Pueblo Center. The only time I've heard them talk to someone else is during a scene local to them. Yes, they do have the ability to transmit on most any USFS frequency and have in the past.
Listen between 07:00 and 09:00 daily; they usually send out weather conditions and fire danger in W Douglas County, their location.

Edited to add.... During any lightning storm, insulators are attached to equipment and the personnel readily evacuate. May explain many silences.
Anyone know if they use just the pike NF freqs also is it still manned I know it was last year I assume it will be.............

Old story from last year
