Here's a few freqs I logged today while in the western and central part of the state.
167.850 - P-25 unencrypted, probably Roosevelt Badlands NP and/or Grasslands. Many national parks around the U.S. are running P-25 digital these days so this is no surprise.
155.685 - unided in the Dickinson area, perhaps Dickinson PD, analog.
155.250 - Mandan PD, largely P-25 encrypted but some unencrypted comms heard too.
155.070 - Bismarck PD, 100% P-25 encrypted.
155.310 - New Salem ambulance dispatch.
155.625 - probably Morton Co. sheriff in analog.
154.370 - Bismarck EMS
154.845 - unided heard in Morton Co.
453.800 - Is this Stark Co. sheriff?
Can anyone tie up my unideds, please?
Also, who's running the Motorola Type II trunked system in Bismarck? The control channel is 3600 baud according to my radio and the system has a sysid of 0721. Currently, the control channel is using 858.0125. I've yet to monitor any voice on it.
Finally, what's up with all the noise I'm hearing on 460.55, 460.275 and other 460 MHz freqs around the state? Are these freqs being used by ND HP for mobile data terminals?
