Did Saskatchewan STARS Air ambulance go encrypted?

I use to monitor the Saskatoon STARS Air Ambulance on 153.830 . I haven't heard anything in the last few months. I wouldn't be surprised if they went to the trunking system.

There are tg's on that system for STARS , however that freq still shows as active in Saskatoon. Did you try the other licenses?, anything is possible
If it went encrypted on that frequency you would still hear a transmission sound assuming there is no CTCSS in the scanner ,

In Alberta STARS has gone encrypted on the AFRRCS system unless they are on Mutual Aid groups.

They are on the provincial trunking system. If you have a trunktracking scanner, you would be interested in this talk group.

I hear STAR 9 on the PPSTN talk-group 5490 Regina, all the time and on 156.8550 MHz provincial fire.

I recently read that STARS in Saskatchewan has moved to 156.855 You could maybe try that??
