DILLON- A large fire at a Dillon condominium has left 35 people homeless for several days.
The Summit County Sheriff's Office says the fire started around 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dillon Valley East Condominiums on Little Beaver Drive.
Six units suffered moderate damage from the fire. The sheriff's office says the fire began in the walls of the building. Fire fighters had to smash, tear and puncture the walls to put the fire out.
No one was hurt in the fire. Emergency crews evacuated the building. The sheriff's office says it could be several days until residents can return home.
The Mile High Chapter of the American Red Cross is assist residents until they can return home. Investigators are looking into what caused the fire.
