Discovery: radio IDs/unit numbers?

Are radio IDs/unit numbers recorded with transmissions in trunking discovery mode, and if so where/how is it possible to see them?

This would assist greatly in determining what agency/agencies a talkgroup is associated with.

Yes it will show talkgroups and radio id. It will be under

Main menu. Than go to settings than replay options than review recordings.

That doesn't seem to be for Discovery sessions?

Lately come to think of it I haven't noticed any IDs while in discovery mode on phase 1 talkgroups. I honestly don't recall if it did. Running latest firmware.

Yeah I don't see them on phase 2 talkgroups in discovery mode either. Not in the logs or while watching the screen live.

Yet one more thing that the promised analysis functions of the Home Patrol Extreme upgrade ($100 value) would do. Uniden has yet to releases the promised analysis features. The radio lacks IF output or data output, so you are unable to do that analysis using that radio.

When there is a problem, admit it as soon as possible.

Customers are not stupid. Ignoring or denying a legitimate problem is not the way to handle it.

Yes.

But the issue isn't not being able to monitor it, it is not being able to see unit IDs when running in discovery mode.

I can see unit IDs when just scanning the system.
