"Most Disney World operations have migrated to a new Nextel infrastructure that has been deployed on property.

The 900 MHz system has mostly buses and monorails. No normal park operations (or hotels operations) are on either of those systems any longer.

As of April 22, it would appear that the Disney World 800 MHz system is no more (no control channel heard over a 2-week period). Lots of Nextel floating around most of the Disney parks. The only two-way radios seen/heard were transportation [900 MHz], some conventional UHF for the food service vendors and some 900 MHz trunked at Disney's Animal Kingdom and MGM Studios at the new Stunt show "Lights, Motors Action" where a combination of Nextel and 900 MHz (with headsets) was used."

I just returned from Disney World the end of August 2006. 900 has no control ch. in use. There is some activty in the 400 range I listened to 461.300 during several parades. It is being used for parade control and preparation. That was interesting like couldnt find Goofys shoes. Reedy Creek as listed in RR has the fire and ambulance.
