SDS100/SDS200: Display question

Very much enjoying my sds100. I would love to have a Motorola apx 6000, but I neither have the funds nor ready access to one! So, I discovered to my delight tonight that I can mimic the display on a apx portable on my sds100. (I know, let the eye roll begin!).
Has anyone else done this and what have been your results?! Pictures please!

You can't do it exactly but this is the same way I do the lettering on my apx 7000.
