NS mainline derailment, mp 487 to mp 492 on the chicago line. In burns harbor IN. Near burns harbor yard and the steel mill. AAR ch 46 and 34 buzzin with traffic.
Many package shipping and passenger trains are affected.

As of yesterday morning #1 main was reportedly open again. And, NS has been detouring some trains using the Porter Branch. Another report from yesterday evening says things are still moving slowly through the area, but they're moving. I assume that some low-priority trains have been parked so passenger trains and high-priority freights can get through.
