On Sunday when I first heard it, some discussion around AV setup, large-screen monitor or TV, might be some regular operation or event.

Not too much commercial voice activity on 800MHz around Ottawa at the moment but surprisingly, LTR is still holding out.
A lot of frequencies were chewed up by iDEN e.g. Telus "Mike" which has mostly gone away. I expect some increase in DMR and other digital modes, but slowly as UHF is now overrun by new systems.

Heard some DMR simplex on 165.570, TG 1, DCC 1, RID 1 (pretty original!), probably Lafarge which has this frequency licensed in a number of areas, but did not confirm.

On Rock Networks Cap+ UHF, heard TG 93 and 94 for movie production stuff. Mention of CEGEP (which is in Quebec), school, Rockland location. Also mention of radios not working inside school, had to come outside to communicate; no big surprise.

Slight side topic, sometimes MPT-1327 CC comes in on 422.2625 which is one Rock frequency. I think it's from Quinte region but can't confirm, TAFL does not show anything there. May need to fire up TrunkView again.
