Just trying to figure out this New Site that has popped up in my area.
Have only had experience using CON+ .
So this is all new to me,
Just wondering if someone can let me know what i need to put in .Sites .Freqs and .network files.
With the information DSD is giving me here.
On the Right it shows TIER III (MOT) and then on the left +DMR

DMR - TIII entries are formatted the same as DMR - Con+, just change the 'NetworkID'

.networks
Code:
TIII,2,"Network Name Here"

.sites
Code:
TIII,2,23.6,"Site Name Here"

.frequencies (this is purely an example as these details as not shown/unknown)
Code:
;Network Name - Site Name
;CC = 3
TIII,2,23.6,0001,410.1000,0.0,0
TIII,2,23.6,0003,410.1500,0.0,0 ; CC This frequency will be what it is currently tuned to to get what you are now seeing.
TIII,2,23.6,0005,410.2000,0.0,0

DSDPlus will show the LSNs when voice traffic start to appear and you can calculate the LSN/frequency.
Sometimes DSDPlus will do this automatically. I not sure if you still need at least one entry for this to occur.

the problem you will have is that it appears that the CCs for most of the Neighbors are Channel 1. Since it is unlikely that they are separated enough to all use the same frequency, it would lead me to guess that the system does not transmit frequency data but only the channel information. The radios would then use a preprogramed list of Sites/Channels to steer the radio to for voice traffic and for roaming.

Tier 3 Motorola is Capacity Max. Capacity Max uses a few different methods to come up with channel numbers. First, it can use a defined channel plan where you define a base frequency and the system calculated channel numbers. Second, it can use an explicitly defined channel numbering system where each tx/RX frequency is laid out in a list. TT
