BCD436HP/BCD536HP: DMR upgrade procedure

Hi--
I have a 2 or 3 year old 436HP that I have barely used. I just registered it and purchased the 60.00 DMR upgrade and got the (lengthy) key. Now...how do I load the upgrade to the scanner? (I have a USB cable to connect scanner to the computer and I'm using Windows 10) I went to http://my.uniden.com but couldn't seem to find out how to do this. My firmware version is 1.09.02 . I don't seem to have the Sentinel software downloaded and can't figure out how to do this either. I know this is a big ball of wax , but can someone tell me exactly what I need to do and in what order? I'm not too computer savvy, so please forgive me. I DID manage to update my upgraded PSR-800/WS1080 several days ago after some lengthy trial and error, so if someone can explain the 436HP upgrade step-by-step, I think I can do it. Thanx in advance for any and all assistance.

You will need to update the database and the firmware using the Sentinel before you input the key on the scanner.

You need the latest versions of Sentinel, and the scanner's firmware to prepare the scanner to accept the key. The scanner was made before there was a way to monitor DMR so the firmware needs to be updated. Also the database will be way out of date.
